Massage therapy is kind of alternative form of medicine which was introduced many years ago by ancient farmers, warriors and medical workers of those time who after their busy working in whole day. They used massage therapy so we can say,

Massage therapy is a scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, consisting primarily of hands-on techniques. Such as applying fixed or movable pressure, holding and moving muscles and body tissues. Majorly it is used to improve delivery of blood and lymph in lymph glands, and helping in improving power of immune also it have its effect on working of our nervous system which directly or indirectly increase the number of synapse and helps in enhance tissue healing.

Basically working of massage therapy depends on relaxation response and mechanical response so we will describe both them here in brief :

1) Relaxation response -
It is an involuntary and predictable response of nervous system on the basis of touch as we know caring and safe touch is an invitation for relaxation. By this our heart and breath rates come down. Due to this response our blood pressure and others hormone level decreases helping us to feel relaxed which in this become reason for reduction of pain in our body.

2) Mechanical responses -
This is majorly that kind of response which occurs when pressure is applied on our soft tissues. It majorly helps in increasing blood and lymph circulation along with normalization of soft tissues which releases soft nerves and deeper connective tissue which results in improvement in blood circulation which in a way we can say helps in increasing activation of our body, which results in reduction of pain in our body.
